2 1/2 cups peanuts, we use honey roasted. 1 cup corn syrup. Sugar. 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda. Candy thermometer. 2 medium sized baking sheets
In a 4 quart (or more) saucepan over medium high heat to boil. Lower heat to medium low and heat Corn Syrup and Sugar to 275 degrees (about 30 minutes).
Add peanuts and heat to 295 degrees on the candy thermometer. Remove from heat, add baking soda, stir and IMMEDIATELY pour onto baking sheets. Allow to cool completely, break into bites.
Makes a great Christmas gift in Christmas tins. No wrapping, just use some wax paper to line the tin.
