Buckie
You’ll have to pardon our friend “Buckie”. He’s a little shy.
Love
We love our little deer.
Zoo Deer
While deer at the zoo make for great photography, the deer we hunt to “shoot” in the wild are much more entertaining and provide hours of amusement when they find something to play with.
Yard Work
Do you see it? We did! This little lady was working out in the yard and caught our eye. She watched us as we quietly lowered our window to get a picture of the great urban deer. Such a cutie.
Threes
A duck, a skunk, and a deer went out for dinner at a restaurant one night. When it came time to pay, the skunk didn’t have a scent, the deer didn’t have a buck so they put the meal on the ducks bill.

Bambi
Isn’t it fascinating how young children and animals have no fear. It’s only when we are educated that we learn of situations to fear. Ignorance is Bliss and, at times, ignorance can bring us many rewards like this fawn who found her way into our front yard, leaving behind her mother and older “sister” to find a bin full of corn and other deer goodies.
Needing Attention
Whether you are hunting them with a bow for food or shooting them with a camera, Whitetail deer are beautiful creatures. Their stealth ability in the middle of a forest in unbeatable and perception of their surroundings unmatchable.
Deer can hear ultrasonic sounds meaning sounds which humans can’t hear. Humans hear sound that has frequency ranging between 20Hz and 20,000Hz. A Human’s hearing is best between 2000 and 5000 hertz. A deer hearing is more sensitive to frequencies between 4000 and 8000. Although they obviously have better hearing than us, their ability to reason is a little lack. Seriously, who ever heard of running out in front of a car to get attention!
