It’s chick season once again with farm stores clearing out whole sections of merchandise to make space for the little peepers. As peepers go, most single men are anxious for a different kind of chick season while the chicks are anxious for the warm season to wear their spring clothes.
Everyone wants something!
If we could use the above analogy on our lives, we believe our lives are wonderfully exciting and fulfilling. The Hosta plant represents what we miss and the itty bitty tiny fly represents what we don’t miss about spring/summer.
During the summer months our first thought is to rip those weeds right out of the ground. During the winter, we are a tad less hasty considering those are now a lovely picture while roasting our toes in front of a fire.
Oh, the problems of summer of which we wish we still encountered. A parking spot for the boat at the local marina would be a welcome problem when unable to leave the house with 6 feet if snow in the road.
