The Weibolt-Rostone House built for the 1933 World’s Fair was “trucked” across Lake Michigan where it found it’s home on the shores in LaPorte County Indiana. The house was made of Rostone, a building material developed in Lafayette, Indiana using limestone, shale, and alkali.

As the warm days of Fall ends, so does the fun activities on the water. Skiing and swimming in the soothing blue water will take a respite until next year in Northern Indiana near Lake Michigan in LaPorte County Indiana. Boats are lifted out of the lake for their winter hibernation and soon the blue water will turn to ice.

Slocum Ditch babbles through the midwestern town of Wanatah Indiana. Wanatah is a little town big on charm with a enchanted park in a quiet neighborhood where lovers walk and children play. Explore the depths of this park and you will find fathers teaching their sons how to fish, children laughing as they are pushed on swings, and romantic, secluded park benches to enjoy the company of a friend or lover.
When one happens across a group of three, its often thought the third must be a “third wheel”. But, third wheels are oftentimes helpful especially when riding a bike or driving a trike.
The most famous of trios would have to be the Three Stooges or maybe the Three Amigos.
Having two very special friends has its advantages. You will always have one looking out or forward for you and the other covers your back.
